Supporting Investment in the Future of South Carolina
Together SC pledges to be a proactive advocacy partner for the state’s nonprofit sector. This coffee break, we will be joined by GP McLeer who will share an update and some background on the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and Together SC's advocacy work with the State House to encourage an investment of $100M into the work of SC Nonprofits from the state's ARPA funds. This proposed grants program, funded with an appropriation of at least $100 million from American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), would provide immediate investments in nonprofits as they work to counter the pandemic’s impact across our economy and aid those disproportionately affected. SC’s nonprofit and philanthropic community is united in support and stands ready, with its 90,000 employees and hundreds of thousands of volunteers, to partner with the State on COVID recovery. Come and learn how you can help advocate for this investment.
